The biggest challenge of our time is sustainability. This is the reason why we developed the Multi Power2 power module based on the latest silicon carbide technology (SiC), which reduces cooling requirements whilst enabling more compact, more reliable, and more robust solutions.
These new 67 kW power modules can reach a ultra-high efficiency up to 98.1% in ON LINE double conversion mode, providing the best power supply to critical equipment whilst minimising operating costs and energy losses. The standard IGBT-based 67 kW power module is still capable of delivering high efficiency of 96.5%.
High efficiency is achieved even in case of extremely low loads thanks to the sophisticated Efficiency Control Mode, where the system will automatically activate only the required number of Power Modules, according to the real-time load ensuring the highest efficiency.
Multi Power2 can also work in temperatures up to 40°C without any derating, minimising the demand and consumption of cooling systems.
Ultimate Flexibility
Multi Power2 has been conceived to meet the specific needs of each installation and quickly adapt to any load increase.
Thanks to the hot-swappable Power Modules, any increase in power can be done while the unit is still working in ON LINE double conversion without any disruption to the load.
All the major components of the UPS are modular and can be easily added and/or replaced, minimising the site intervention cost whilst avoiding any downtime.
Available in 300-500-600 kW power ratings, several configurations and frames are available:
- PCM: very compact solution with integrated manual bypass;
- PCO: unit supplied with unique I/O and without switches to simplify the integration with the existing electrical infrastructure and meet any space constraints;
- PCS: fully integrated solution for a complete, simple, and reliable installation. Incorporates the main input, bypass, manual bypass and output switches.
Smart Modular Architecture
Multi Power2 is the result of a new design approach focused on a deep interconnection between hardware and software. It provides an extremely reactive system which ensures business continuity in every operating condition.
Intelligence is distributed to ensure the protection of the equipment even on the off chance of a fault on a power module.
Automatic health checks are performed during the plug-in of each module to verify its status and avoid defective components, while the firmware automatically aligns to the latest version as and when additional modules are added to the system.
While thanks to the embedded intelligence, power computing capacity, and outstanding connectivity, we can monitor remotely the status of the UPS and provide bespoke after sales service to help maximise the overall lifespan of the unit.
Downtime-Free Maintenance Guaranteed
Each power module and battery unit is easily accessible from the front of the cabinet and hot-swappable. This ensures any module can be serviced, maintained, or even replaced while the rest of the system continues to protect the load, minimising the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
In addition, every connection terminal is accessible straight from the front of the unit to enable safe and easy deployment.
